As part of the celebration, DZE Asia Pte Ltd<\/strong> and the Dino Zoli Foundation<\/strong> offer a fresh perspective on the excitement with \u201cArt in Motion: AI Creatives at the Singapore Night Race.\u201d <\/strong>Held from 18 to 24 September 2024<\/strong> at The Arts House<\/strong>, the exhibition aims to create an immersive and thought-provoking experience, focusing on three key elements: climate change, the prevalence of artificial intelligence (AI), and sustainability \u2014 set against the dynamic backdrop of the Marina Bay Street Circuit. Curated by Nadia Stefanel<\/strong>, the exhibition will feature digital artworks by artists experimenting with innovative AI tools.<\/p>\n

Leveraging the Power of AI <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cArt in Motion: AI Creatives at the Singapore Night Race\u201d explores AI’s influence on digital artistry, highlighting its impact on both our lives and technological progress. The exhibition reflects on AI\u2019s dual nature by showcasing both our innovation and impulsivity, while also considering humanity\u2019s environmental impact through creative expression. As a result, the upcoming exhibition organised by the Dino Zoli Foundation and DZE Asia will serve as a platform to showcase the cutting-edge intersection of art and AI, highlighting the transformative potential of technology in the realm of creativity.\u201d<\/p>\n

A Curated Selection of Artistic Talents <\/strong><\/p>\n

This year’s exhibition will present the works of six artists from Italy and Singapore, each bringing a distinctive and varied perspective on the integration of AI in art.<\/p>\n

By suspending the video over a runway in a static space-time dimension created with Artificial Intelligence, it tracks the Singapore sky during the Grand Prix event, triggering a pink cloud on the ground whenever a flying object passes nearby.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n

Debora Hirsch<\/h3>\n

In her work \u201cPlantalia,\u201d which features endangered plants immortalised through AI and art, Hirsch delves into the relationship between nature and urban environments, emphasising the crucial role of protected habitats in preserving biodiversity. This project was inspired by her knowledge of plant species also discovered in Singapore’s protected reserves, such as Bukit Timah Nature Reserve and Central Catchment Nature Reserve<\/em>. Hirsch\u2019s work highlights the urgency of conservation efforts in the face of urbanisation and the need for a global commitment to ensure the survival of diverse plant species worldwide.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row equal_height=”yes”][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n

Giuseppe Ragazzini<\/h3>\n

Ragazzini, a renowned Italian painter, set designer, and visual artist, presents this captivating work, featuring five discs that each represent a different facial component: the mouth, nose, eyes, and head generated by AI and artistically processed by the artist. Modelled after the wheel rims of a race car, the discs can be controlled and rotated, allowing an impressive 1,024 unique face combinations to be formed. Each disc is inspired by iconic personalities within the world of Formula 1, seamlessly blending art and the sport.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text css=””]<\/p>\n

In an era defined by climate change, sustainability efforts, and AI, this art exhibition aims to foster dialogue on pressing issues. By examining the relationship between technology and human existence, \u201cArt in Motion: AI Creatives at the Singapore Night Race\u201d seeks to illuminate pathways to a more sustainable future, where generative AI becomes a catalyst for innovation and responsible progress.<\/p>\n

The exhibition’s inclusion in the official Grand Prix Season Singapore (GPSS24) program by the Singapore Tourism Board further highlights its prominence as one of the most innovative and captivating art events in Singapore.<\/strong><\/p>\n
