OPEN CALL

Through the years, on the occasion of the Formula 1 Grand Prix, Dino Zoli Foundation has worked with DZ Engineering (one of Zoli Group’s companies, which develops illumination and telecommunication systems on the circuit of Marina Bay) to create four art exhibitions.
This year’s project stems from the urgency of pondering on environmental sustainability as the only way to our near future, to improve both our health and people’s wellbeing and the quality of life in our cities. We reckon that Art, given its manifold expressions, can be an important source of inspiration to encourage reflection on this matter.
Therefore, we would like to support a project of Recycled Art, which can receive international exposure thanks to the big audience of the Race Week (302.000 in 2022).
We would love to contribute positively to the ethics of the city by recycling the projectors that illuminated the circuit of Formula 1 GP last September, since they are not going to be used anymore because they are going to be replaced by more environmentally-friendly LED devices.
Dino Zoli Foundation, supported by Embassy of Italy and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Singapore has opened an Art submission.
We would like to find several artists to transform the floodlights that illuminated the Race Night and give them a new life through Art.
From simple objects, with specific function and use inside the illumination system of Singapore circuit, to a piece of Art displayed at an exhibition at The Arts House.
